Work In Progress: An Upholstered Leather Chest

The devil (or in this case… the beauty) is in the details. We recently revamped a Dallas interior design client’s home and two of these customized upholstered chests made it into the formal living room.  We just had to pop in and share some photos of the details we hand selected for our client’s space.

The rich walnut wood finish, the creamy leather upholstery, and the antique bronzed nailheads were all chosen specifically to fit our client’s personal style: classic, with a modern twist. If you met our homeowners, you’d know how much of a fit for them that really is. But, we also selected these to fit their lifestyle offering them substantially more storage and durability.

Now that you’ve had a little taste of this space… wait until you see what Pulp has happening in the rest of this stunning Dallas home. (Pst! You’ve already seen their gallery wall installation and our custom zebra stool.) Stick around! There’s more to come…

So, we selected this chest to meet our client’s needs for style and function. But, if you had to choose, what comes first? form or function?

  1. I love what you’ve done with this chest., particularly a fan of the antique bronzed nailheads. They give it an expensive edge with a touch of class.. Very inspiring!
